Tuesday night the Falcons flipped the narrative in Bellingham and beat the Bells 7-4 to even this very important North Division series.

The Falcons jumped out early, scoring three times in their first at bats with two-out. Justin Tucker, who led off the game by getting hit by a pitch would score on a Rees Kozar single three batters later. Finley Buckner then reached on an error before Kaden Prosofsky made the Bells pay with a two-run double to give the visitors a three-run advantage.

In the bottom of the second the Bells started to chip away and scored a pair of runs off starter Lucas Smith.

However, in the top of the third the Falcons restored a three-run lead, scoring two runs of their own. After a Kozar single, Buckner blasted a two-run homerun on the first pitch he saw, for his second dinger of the season. It would hold up as the game winning run.

The teams traded single runs in the fourth inning. The Falcons tallied theirs off an RBI double from Boogie McNeal scoring Ty Peters who walked to lead off the inning.

Then in the top of the fifth the Falcons tallied their seventh run, which was scored unearned and Buckner was involved again. He received a walk, then moved to second on an error, before advancing to third on a Cade Burnham single. Standing just 90 feet away, Peters lifted a sacrifice fly to score him for the third time in the ballgame.

The Bells got one back in the home half of the seventh, but it was too little too late despite outhitting the Falcons 11-9. They committed three errors which led to four Falcons runs.

Mason Zobel made his Falcons debut out of the bullpen after Smith and recorded his first West Coast League win. Eddie Dolansky pitched the ninth and held the Bells to collect the save.

The Falcons (25-16) win brings them into a second-place tie with the Bells (25-16) with series finale and rubber match set for Wednesday night at 6:35pm.
