Lucky 13



Friday night the Falcons opened a three-game weekend series on the road in Yakima meeting the Pippins for the first time this year and recorded an 8-3 victory, the team’s 13th win of the campaign.

Timely hitting and solid pitching was the recipe for success on Friday night. Nolan Eberwein had a pair of doubles and Rees Kozar had two hits in the win as the offence combined for eight hits in total.

On the mound Maddon McArthur started and lasted three innings giving up just one hit. Corwin Allard recorded the win and Jackon Bell and Aiden Ennis each came out of the bullpen not allowing a run.

Offensively the team scored two runs in the third, four in the fourth inning and added some insurance in the top of the seventh.

The Falcons (13-9) meet the Pippins (11-14) again on Saturday night In Yakima.
