Ty One On
With the season quickly approaching the Falcons are excited to welcome outfielder Ty Peters from Cypress College in California to the 2026 summer season.
The lefthanded hitting sophomore has been solid this spring batting .279 through 44 games which includes 43 hits, eight doubles, three triples, four homeruns, 35 RBIs and 31 runs scored.
He will add depth to the Falcons roster particularly in the outfield as a talented option for the coaching staff. In high school, he was a three-year letterman, an Athlete of the Year and was named a First Team All League and All-State in both baseball and football.
He has a career in baseball as a goal following college but if that doesn’t work in his favour, he has interest in becoming a pilot. He’ll fly into Kelowna and ready for the season to open on May 29th at Elks Stadium when the Bellingham Bells come to town.
Season tickets for the 2026 summer are available now as well as billet opportunities to create everlasting memories. Billeting can be a beneficial experience for both players and host families. For billet families, it means opening up their homes to aspiring baseball players, giving them an opportunity to share experiences within the billet family unit. For the player, it’s a chance to share different cultural and social experiences while developing their skills. To learn more, contact the Falcons billet coordinator Karen Nonis at 250-717-6870.
