It was an outstanding week for righthander pitcher Max Biddle who has been named the West Coast League Pitcher of the Week.

His first of two outings last week came on Tuesday June 30^th at home against the Kamloops NorthPaws. He was brilliant facing just 19 batters in his five innings of work, shutting out the visitors while striking out three and scattering four hits, recording the win.

Then this past Sunday, again at home he threw another five innings of shutout baseball allowing four hits and struck out three on pace for his third win of the campaign.

He becomes the second straight Falcons’ pitcher named to this WCL honour.  Seth Sumner was named the Pitcher of the Week last week.

The Falcons open a home-and-home three-game midweek series with the NorthPaws beginning on Tuesday night at Elks Stadium.
