Tuesday afternoon the West Coast League announced two Falcons had been named to the 2026 WCL All-Star Game and will represent the North Division.

Seth Sumner was a no brainer, and many believe he should get the nod to start the game for the North.  The righty has collected five wins this summer and an ERA of 1.04, both tops in the West Coast League.  He has appeared seven times so far this season and thrown 34.2 innings, striking out 29 in the process and was named the WCL Pitcher of the Week just two weeks ago.

Jacob Loving is also a well-deserved All-Star.  The shortstop has played 17 games this season and is hitting .361 with 22 hits, three doubles and a triple.  He has done an excellent job getting on base recording 27 total bases and has scored 14 runs. In the field he has been outstanding with the glove and will no doubt be a topic of discussion for scouts at the game.

The 2026 West Coast League All-Star Game will take place in Victoria on Wednesday July 15^th at Royal Athletic Park.  A homerun derby is scheduled for July 14^th and former Toronto Blue Jay centerfielder Kevin Pillar will headline the event.

In the coming days the WCL will announce ways for fans to stream the game live to be able to watch at home.
