Four More Signed
Head coach Gregg Zaun is pleased to announce four more players to the 2026 roster with the season quickly approaching.
Coach Zaun knows how gruelling the West Coast League season can be under hot temperature and long bus rides so has added the following players to help fill a role when needed.
Infielder Brendan Shanahan from Grossmont College played two games this spring season, batted four times, collected two hits, one of them a double, drove in two runs and scored. He is in his sophomore season and is excited to get as many opportunities in game situations as possible this summer.
Infielder Jayden “Boogie” McNeal (pictured) will join the club following his high-school graduation. He is a highly sought talent with a smooth lefthanded swing who has committed to the University of California-Riverside in the fall. He will continue to work on his skills as he gets his first taste of collegiate baseball this summer at Elks Stadium.
Kelowna’s Cade Webber joins his hometown team after spending last summer with the Kamloops NorthPaws. The righty appeared in 15 games last year, striking out 23 batters over the course of 21.2 innings. His lone loss last summer came at the hands of the Falcons so he is pleased to be pitching in Kelowna this year. He is a lengthy presence on the month at 6-foot-4 and has had experience with Arizona Western College. He will be hungry for innings this summer.
High schooler Chase Gordon has also been added to the Falcons pitching staff and will no doubt work out of the bullpen in key situations.
Season tickets for the 2026 summer are available now as well as billet opportunities to create everlasting memories. Billeting can be a beneficial experience for both players and host families. For billet families, it means opening up their homes to aspiring baseball players, giving them an opportunity to share experiences within the billet family unit. For the player, it’s a chance to share different cultural and social experiences while developing their skills. To learn more, contact the Falcons billet coordinator Karen Nonis at 250-717-6870.
