Smooth Swinging Outfielder

Head coach Gregg Zaun continues to add to the Falcons 2026 roster with the season opening May 29 th at Elks Stadium and is pleased to announce the addition of junior outfielder Jacob Embleton.

The El Cajon, California native transferred to Cal State San Marcos in anticipation for this spring season following two years at Grossmont College.

He’s had a solid spring so far hitting .318 with an .395 OBP. He’s collected 48 hits, 10 doubles, five homeruns and 28 RBIs after 151 at bats and 45 games. He can be an issue on the bases for the opposing defences with seven steals and 40 runs scored.

He will join teammate Christopher Tampoya in Kelowna, and the coaching staff is excited to have both with the Falcons this season opening May 29 th at Elks Stadium when the Bellingham Bells come to town for a three-game weekend series. Season tickets are available now by calling the Falcons headquarters at 250-763-4100. The team is also still searching for a few more billet families which can be a beneficial experience for both players and host families. For billet families, it means opening up their homes to aspiring baseball players, giving them an opportunity to share experiences within the billet family unit. For the player, it’s a chance to share different cultural and social experiences while developing their skills. To learn more, contact the Falcons billet coordinator Karen Nonis at 250-717-6870.
