Zaun’s Comets

The Falcons coaching staff led by new head coach Gregg Zaun continues to build out the 2026 roster and are excited to announce a pair of signings from the Palomar College Comets.

Sophomore infielder Jacob Loving has enjoyed a successful spring to date. The Murrieta, California native is hitting .357 through the first 17 games of the season. He’s had 70 at bats, has collected 25 hits, five of them doubles, has a triple and 15 RBIs while scoring 18 runs.

His teammate at Palomar, outfielder Justin Tucker (pictured) will also join the Falcons this summer. The sophomore from La Mesa, California is also having a hot start to the spring season hitting .420 with 21 hits, four-doubles, 16 RBIs and 17 runs scored after 50 at bats.

The Falcons are looking forward to seeing what both players can do at Elks Stadium this summer when the season opens May 29th against the Bellingham Bells.

Season tickets for the 2026 summer are available now as well as billet opportunities to create everlasting memories. Billeting can be a beneficial experience for both players and host families. For billet families, it means opening up their homes to aspiring baseball players, giving them an opportunity to share experiences within the billet family unit. For the player, it’s a chance to share different cultural and social experiences while developing their skills. To learn more, contact the Falcons billet coordinator Karen Nonis at 250-717-6870.
