Why are you playing baseball and not some other sport? Baseball was the first sport I started playing and fell in love with the game right away. I also like football, but baseball is my sport

What drew you to the school you are attending: Great academics and great baseball legacy.

2023: Played in 30 games and made 17 starts in his freshman year … Made eight starts in left, five in center, and four in right … Came into games six times as a pinch runner and four times each as a defensive replacement and pinch hitter … Came around to score three times as a pinch runner … Made his starting debut vs. Sam Houston on 2/28 and was hitless in his first 13 at-bats before collecting a pair of hits vs. Texas A&M at the Shriners Classic and followed that up with a pair of doubles for his first career extra-base hits vs. TCU the next game at Minute Maid Park … Slugged his first career home run vs. DBU on 4/29.

Prior to Rice: All District 16-6A selection as a senior for coach Corey Cephus, hitting better than.400 in district games and finished the year with a .340 career average, .945 OPS and .481 on-base percentage while driving in 23 runs… Mustangs ended the season 22-13 and reached the second round of the 6A state playoffs.
