Our Roster Grows

Four more positional players have been added to our roster as the season quickly approaches!

Utility player Raydley Legito (pictured) has been solid this spring at Southwest Baptist University. He’s hitting .248 so far with five extra base hits, 25 RBIs and four steals. He’s played in all 45 games to date for the Bearcats.

Outfielder Spencer Zeller is a sophomore at Spokane Falls College and joins returning lefty Troy Shepard in Kelowna this season. He has appeared in 23 games this spring, collecting 17 hits, three doubles, has a triple, 14 RBIs and 12 steals.

Catcher Matthew Pena is a freshman a Cal State North Ridge playing behind a pair of veteran players. He has seen limited action this spring in a game scenario, but has been learning from his coaches and teammates. He will get plenty of opportunities to grow this summer in our line-up.

Christian Salazar is a young freshman at Rice University and joins returning Falcons Trey Duffield and Jacob Devenny in Kelowna this summer. He will take what he has learned over the course of his first collegiate year and put it into practice at Elks Stadium this summer.

With the season quickly approaching, our club is on the search for billet families for our student athletes. There are plenty of perks when joining our Falcons family, so contact Alex Draper to find out more at adraper29@shaw.ca. He can also help book your summer parties at the ballpark.

The season opens May 31st with our FREE home opener presented by Stutters Restorations when our club hosts the Nanaimo NightOwls at Elks Stadium.
