More Pitchers Added

A pair of righthanded pitchers from Riverside City College in California have been added to the Falcons staff for 2025.
Freshman Andrew Martin has appeared in nine games this spring, primarily used out of the bullpen by the Tigers. He has a win and a save over the course of 21 innings and has struck out 20 batters in his club’s 38 games played.
Freshman Austin Torres (pictured) joins Martin in Kelowna and like his college teammate, has been used out of the pen this spring. He has thrown just 7.1 innings in six outings and has fanned seven batters to date.
Both pitchers hail from California and should give the Falcons healthy innings this summer as they work on developing their craft against the best hitters across the West Coast League.
The Falcons open the season on May 30th at home when the Victoria Harbourcats come to town for a three-game series. Season tickets and individual game tickets are available now, just call the Falcons headquarters at 250-763-4100 or email admin@kelownafalcons.com.
