The offence came alive in the third inning, scoring three times on two hits. Trey Duffield, Griffin Palfrey and Sam Flore each drove in a run in the inning, The Flores RBI turned out to be the winning run when he brought home Duffield.
Then in the fourth, Rapheal Smeenk added to the lead with his second homer of the season on a 2-0 count with one-out.
After the NightOwls cut the lead in half in the bottom of the fifth off starter Amane Kondo (pictured), the Falcons offence went back to work scoring single runs in the final three innings to collect their 25th win of the campaign. Jaxon Byrd came out of the bullpen to throw 3.1 innings and picked up the victory after Kondo finished with a no-decision.
