Four More Arms

Our ballclub is excited to announce the addition of four new righthanded pitchers to our staff for the 2024 summer season, quickly approaching.

Dylan Vinson has been very good coming out of the bullpen from Galveston College this spring and we are hoping he continues to pitch well this summer when he comes to Kelowna. He has made 14 appearances, all out of the pen this spring, has recorded a pair of wins and a save over the course of 19.2 innings. His ERA is 3.66 and has struck out 19 batters thus far.

Garrett Nail becomes the first Falcons pitcher from Coastal Bend College in Texas to join our club. He has been solid this spring making 11 appearances and recording a 2-2 record to date. He has thrown 41.2 innings and has fanned 40 batters using a variety of pitches. Our coaches will no doubt use Garrett often if he continues to pitch solid here in the spring.

Carson Kimball is an incoming freshman to Texas State University in the fall and has been ranked nationally by Perfect Game and 37th across the entire state of Texas. His fastball has reached 92mph and will be a valuable resource for the coaching staff when our season begins on May 31st.

Ethan Coronel has seen time as a starter and a reliever this spring at Houston Christian University. He has thrown 11.2 innings and has struck out eight. He will be another strong arm on our staff this summer.

With the season quickly approaching, our club is on the search for billet families for our student athletes. There are plenty of perks when joining our Falcons family, contact Alex Draper to find out more at adraper29@shaw.ca. He can also help book your summer parties at the ballpark.

The season opens May 31st when our club hosts the Nanaimo NightOwls at Elks Stadium.
