Fines Back Again

For the third straight summer, Eddie Fines will dawn a Falcons uniform as he returns to the club following his freshman season at Sacramento City College.
Fines, a native of Elk Grove, California, is hitting .432 in 24 games for the Panthers collecting 32 hits, eight doubles, a homer and 19 RBIs as he continues to develop his game. Each season he has shown improvement and the Falcons coaching staff have high expectations for him this upcoming season.
Last year in Kelowna, he played 33 games, hit .283 over the course 106 at bats with 30 hits, three doubles, a homerun and 18 RBIs. Over on the defensive side, Fines should be a staple in the lineup again this coming summer playing either at shortstop or second base. His versatility makes him a major asset for head coach Doug Noce.
Fines is expected to be in Kelowna for opening day on May 30th when the Falcons host the Victoria HarbourCats at Elks Stadium.
