Familiar Arms

Our ballclub is very excited to welcome back three very familiar arms to the 2024 pitching staff.

Two summers ago Nick Woodcock (pictured) was named the Falcons Pitcher of the Year after compiling a 1.85 ERA, fanning 32 batters over 34 innings of work, recorded a win and a save. He appeared in 13 games and only allowed seven earned runs. The Whitby Ontario native will return to our club hungry to improve upon those numbers.

Right hander Ethan Rattie joined our club for the final few games of the season in 2023 giving some much needed innnings to the depeated staff last August. In five innings pitched over the course of four games, he didn’t allow a run and struck out six batters. As a sophomore this spring at the University of Puget Sound he has been outstanding. In eight appearances he has fanned seven, has a win and a save with an ERA of 3.00.

Kelowna’s Teagan Ribbink will also return to our club after finishing up with Okanagan College. Last summer he threw 17.2 innings, all out of the bullpen for us and collected a pair of wins. He struck out 17 along the way in nine appearances. This spring with the Coyotes he is 2-0 with a 1.14 ERA and has an incredible 29 strikeouts in 23.2 innings.

All three pitchers are expected to be in Kelowna when we open our season on May 31st at home against the Nanaimo NightOwls. Season tickets and corporate summer parties are available now, reach out to Alex Draper at adraper29@shaw.ca to book yours before its too late.
