Birds of a Feather

Head coach Gregg Zaun continues to add to the 2026 pitching staff and has signed a pair of right handers from Feather River College in California.

Righty Ryan Pineo (pictured) is in his freshman year and has appeared in 12 games so far this spring. Unfortunately, his season statistics are not available online.

Prior to attending Feather River College he played at Antelope high school, graduating in 2024, playing both that the shortstop position and dealing on the mound. He was named All-League twice, looking to continue his success at the college level.

Outside of the diamond he is enrolled in the business program and has a desire to be an electric lineman once baseball is over. He has athletics in his blood after his dad Keith played baseball and lacrosse at Sacramento State.

Righthander Keller Bloodworth has a terrific name as he comes to Kelowna following his freshman season at Feather River. He can pitch and play the infield, appearing in 11 games so far this spring, but unfortunately his season statistics are not available online.

Last year he spent a semester at Grays Harbour Community College in Aberdeen, Washington before transferring to Feather River. He made five appearances last year, finished with a win, an ERA of 1.35 and fanned six in 6.2 innings.

He attended Ashland high school in his hometown of Ashland, Oregon and was named an All-League in his three seasons. He also played basketball while attending Ashland.

When not at the ballpark, Bloodworth is majoring in Engineering, enjoys cooking along with fishing and hiking. He’s going to love the Okanagan for the outdoor paradise that it is.

The Falcons are looking forward to having both players arrive as the season opens May 29th at Elks Stadium with the Bellingham Bells in town. Season tickets for the 2026 summer are available now as well as billet opportunities to create everlasting memories. Billeting can be a beneficial experience for both players and host families. For billet families, it means opening up their homes to aspiring baseball players, giving them an opportunity to share experiences within the billet family unit. For the player, it’s a chance to share different cultural and social experiences while developing their skills. To learn more, contact the Falcons billet coordinator Karen Nonis at 250-717-6870.
