Barrett’s Back

Kelowna’s Barrett Froehler will return to the Falcons pitching staff in 2025 following his first season at Yakima Valley College in Washington.
So far this spring, Froehler has appeared in 10 games and has earned two saves over the course of 20.1 innings and has struck out 14 batters. He is a redshirt freshman at Yakima this spring but is getting quality innings.
Last summer at Elks Stadium, he appeared in 10 games and struck out 11 in 21.1 innings.
This summer he will be expected to do even more in his third year in the West Coast League. He should have a good idea of what to expect and will be a leader for Coach Noce as a veteran in the dugout. In 2023, he was a late addition to the roster with other players leaving to return home before the end of the season. He appeared in four innings on the mound and played in four games as a positional player.
Welcome back Barrett.
The Falcons open the season on May 30th at home when the Victoria Harbourcats come to town for a three-game series. Season tickets and individual game tickets are available now, just call the Falcons headquarters at 250-763-4100 or email admin@kelownafalcons.com.
