Here We Go Again

It’s déjà vu all over again as the Falcons meet the Kamloops NorthPaws in a home-and-home three-game series beginning on Tuesday night at Elks Stadium.

This will be the final time these two teams meet this season and the Falcons (19-11) are leading the seasonal series 4-2 so far this summer.  They just met last week continuing the theme of the home team winning each matchup in the series to date and the Falcons will host two of the three games this week.

Offensively the Falcons have outscored the NorthPaws 55-38 in the six games and will be looking for more this week while trying to turn the tide when the game shifts to Kamloops.  The Falcons have won four straight and six series in a row.  The club now sits in second place in the North Division, two games back of the front running Wenatchee Applesox.

The Falcons pitching staff continues to be solid with the second-best team ERA (3.84) in the West Coast League and have a combined 233 strikeouts.   Conversely the NorthPaws (12-18) team ERA is dead last at 6.24 and a league worst 188 strikeouts.

In the seasonal series the Falcons’ hitters have had timely hits and have taken advantage of the long ball collecting 22 homers and 72 extra base hits.   Overall, the club has a league best .276 batting average with Druw Frost leading the way batting .324.

Tickets for the home games on Tuesday and Thursday are available in advance on the Falcons ticket page or can be purchased at the gate starting at 5:30pm at Elks Stadium.
