Letter Kenny

Head coach Gregg Zaun and the Falcons coaching staff has added UBC Thunderbirds catcher Kenny Scott to the 2026 roster for some more Canadian flavour.

The Delta native enters his junior season with the Thunderbirds and his expected to have a big spring after playing sparingly in his first two seasons. Since joining the T-Birds he has 11 hits, three of them for doubles, five RBIs and has scored five runs. Defensively he is solid behind the plate and has a strong arm down to second.

The 5’9, 175 pounder will no doubt take advantage of working with head coach Gregg Zaun to become a better catcher both defensively and at the plate once the West Coast League season opens on May 29, 2026.

The Falcons are also looking for billet/host families for the summer season. Billeting can be a beneficial experience for both players and host families. For billet families, it means opening up their homes to aspiring baseball players, giving them an opportunity to share experiences within the billet family unit. For the player, it’s a chance to share different cultural and social experiences while developing their skills. To learn more, contact the Falcons billet coordinator Karen Nonis at 250-717-6870.
