Pitching Staff Grows



The Kelowna Falcons have added righthanded pitcher Austin Balentine to the 2023 roster with the season a month away.

The sophomore from Stanislaus State University in California is a long, lengthy righty at 6’4, 176 pounds. In the classroom he in majoring in psychology with a minor in criminal justice.

On the field and on the bump Balentine is 2-1 with a save this spring in 12 appearances, all out of the bullpen. He has fanned 32 batters in 26.2 innings with an ERA of 2.70.

Once his playing career is over he hopes to begin a career in law enforcement.

The regular season opens on the road June 2nd before the FREE home opener on Tuesday June 6th presented by Stutters Restoration.
