Fines-Ly

The Falcons losing streak finally came to an end on Friday night in Kamloops after a 3-2 victory over the NorthPaws.
Eddie Fines led off the game with his first West Coast League homerun to set the tone. Then in the fourth the Falcons would strike again when Max Trembly singled home Lucas Scott for his first WCL RBI.
After the NorthPaws cut the lead in half in the sixth, the Falcons offence scored what would turn out to be the winning run in the seventh when Aidan Malish brought home Trembly with a sac-fly.
The game got very interesting in the bottom of the ninth when the NorthPaws scored a run but that’s as close as they would come, as Matt Viveros closed the door and recorded the save. Starter Caleb Taylor picked up the win.
Saturday night the Falcons will welcome the NorthPaws to Elks Stadium for the final home game of the summer. Gates open at 5:30pm, with the first pitch set for 6:35pm. Fans can pre-purchase tickets HERE.
